SOU ALVARELHÃO
This is a joint project between producer Quinta de Santiago and winemaker and producer Nuno Mira do Ó. Born from sincere friendship and inspired by “Rock”, a common passion beyond vineyards and wines! With a minimalist intervention, this serious and elegant red seeks to express the full potential of Alvarelhão (or Brancelho) in a region once dominated by red vineyards.

TASTING NOTES
Medium open color. Deep and elegant nose with notes of red fruits, pepper, cinnamon and herbs. Textured and fresh mouthfeel with good structure of very smooth tannins, vibrant acidity and long finish on fruit and spice notes.
CONSUMPTION SUGGESTIONS
It is a wine full of elegance, tension, and complexity that gives it great gastronomic potential, from lighter dishes to fattier ones. It will be an excellent companion for the more traditional Minhota dishes but also for cheeses, game, red meats and fatty fish.
